Materials:
- A deck of cards
- A spectator
Effect:
The spectator picks a card and puts it back on top of the deck.
He/she cuts the cards, then, the magician looks through the cards and
finds the spectators card.
Secret:
- Fan out the cards and ask the spectator to pick a card.
- Ask him/her to put their card on top of the deck.
- Make sure during steps 1 or 2, you catch a glimpse of the bottom card.
- Ask the spectator to cut the cards and put the bottom half on top.
- Say that you will find their card; all you have to do is find the card that was at the bottom; their card will be to the left of it!
- Accept the applause.
